Aubrey Barger

Primary Responsibilities: The Director of Marketing (DOM) is in charge of publicity and marketing for the Residence Halls Advisory Council, including all social media and web operations, and the publishing the weekly and monthy RHAC newsletters. 

A little bit about me: I am a Computer Science & Engineering major from Newark, Ohio, and I'm hoping to pursue audiovisual tech in the entertainment industry, either with theatre, sports, or music! I've been involved with all sorts of marketing and communications positions at OSU, including within the 4-H program, and in Engineering Scholars. Last year, I was the Digital Engagement chair for Barrett-Nosker/Jones Community Council. 

Fun facts: In my free time, I really like to shoot archery, and I shot competitively through 4-H when I was a teenager. Right now, I'm pursuing my certification to instruct archery through 4-H! If I'm staying inside, I love to read, crochet, cook, and collect hockey cards.

Why I joined RHAC: I joined RHAC with a lot of influence from previous executive members and their positive experiences, paired with my drive to make a difference in a more widespread fashion with how many students are involved with Residence Life here at OSU. I found this as the perfect opportunity to live out the motto of "Be the change you want to see in the world."
