MUNDO Spring Semester Calendar 2026

Join OUAB in collaboration with MUNDO for a movie screening of Moonlight. A poignant coming-of-age story follows Chiron, a young Black man in Miami, through three stages of his life (childhood, adolescence, adulthood). He finds moments of connection and self-discovery while navigating a world that pressures him to conform, eventually culminating in a powerful reunion with his childhood friend Kevin that allows him to embrace his true self.

Looking for an afternoon of powerful storytelling and real conversation? Join MUNDO for The Jaja’s Hair Braiding Experience! You’ll get a FREE ticket to see the acclaimed play Jaja’s Hair Braiding.

Lights, camera, action! This session explores how art and film drive change. We’ll hear from film faculty, learn filmmaking basics, and discuss what Hollywood represents today. Plus, meet local filmmakers and brainstorm how media can amplify voices and create impact. 

MUNDO participants are invited to be part of The Ohio State Housing and Residence Education Residential Leadership Awards as an end of year award ceremony celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of Housing and Residence Educations' Community Councils and Involved Living Organizations and Initiatives,  

• The MUNDO ACTION TEAM and interested MUNDO participants should attend this event  to learn about possible themes, topics, and experiences to incorporate into the 2026-2027 MUNDO year.
