2023 RBC Dates: Friday, February 24 - Sunday, February 26
Conference Theme: "Where Leadership Grows"
"Where Leadership Grows" - What Does That Mean?
Leadership is an important aspect of success in any field, and especially so in the world of student affairs. With this in mind, it's no surprise that our conference is aimed at fostering the development of new ideas in leadership. Our conference will provide a platform for leaders in our student's residence life programs to learn from experienced leaders in Residence Hall Associations and NRHH Chapters across the Central Atlantic Region.
The Ohio State University is proud to host the 2023 Regional Business Conference, and provide a meaningful, impactful experience to leaders across CAACURH, and to show all that Ohio State is truly a place "Where Leadership Grows"!
What is CAACURH?
This region is the Central Atlantic affiliate for the National Association of College & University Residence Halls (NACURH). NACURH empowers, motivates, and equips residence hall leaders by providing them with skills and resources in order for them to excel and positively impact their campus communities. You can find more information about the national association here.
CAACURH, pronounced: “kuh – kurr” stands for Central Atlantic Affiliate of College & University Residence Halls. This region is comprised of student delegations and staff advisors from institutions in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. You can find more information about our regional association here.
Conference Waiver Forms
Everyone attending RBC must fill out and complete the Conference Waiver AND the Acknowledgement of NACURH Health Guidelines for In-Person Experiences BEFORE THE CONFERENCE!
Additional Conference Waivers: In some instances, the following waivers are necessary for delegates or a delegation. Please see the descriptions below.
- Gender Inclusive Housing Waiver - This would need to be signed for any individuals wanting the opportunity to opt into Gender Inclusive Housing.
- Early Departure Waiver - Any institution wanting to leave prior to 7 AM on the last day of conference. I recognize that some of you aren't offering anything on Sunday so 7 AM may be the time institutions leave, however, this protects us from those wanting refunds and liability with them being on the road early.
- Parent and Guardian Waiver - This is completed for any delegate under the age of 18. This would be in place of the waiver that others sign as they legally couldn't sign on their own.
