OWL= Ohio State Welcome Leader

This position reports to Program Coordinator for Leadership working 1-28 hours a week at aresidence hall desk carrying out various office related tasks. A Large portion of the summer will be helping to plan and implement all aspects of the Ohio State Welcome Leader program. You will also do the following: 

-   Recruit, train, and supervise Area Coordinators and OWL-Coordinators with a focus on leadership development 

-   Network with university constituents that play an active role in the program

-   Create an evaluation process to measure successes and challenges of the overall OWL experience

 

Dates of Appointment: May 2018 - August 18, 2018 

The Office of Student Life - Residence Life is looking for two exceptional student leaders to serve as Co-Chairs for the 2018 Ohio State Welcome Leader Program. These positions offer students the opportunity to demonstrate and further develop outstanding leadership skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

-   Must be a residential student on an Ohio State University campus

-   Enrolled as a full-time student in academic OSU coursework

-   Maintain a 2.0 per semester and cumulative GPA during the selection process and while employed. All grades are based on the University’s most recent record.
