Office of Student Life: Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Peer Theatre

Peer Theatre is a program, entering it's fifth year with Off the Lake, that brings skits related to challenges or struggles college students may face to Ohio State residence halls. Each Peer Theatre performance consists of at least two skits, each of which is followed by a dialogue facilitated by our own trained members. At the end of the program, we provide residents with a resource sheet for further information. Through these skits, we hope to promote wellness, diversity, and learning on Ohio State’s campus.

We have skits on the following topics:

  • Careless language
  • Homesickness
  • Eating Disorders
  • LGBTQ+ relationships
  • Racial equality
  • and more!

Each Off the Lake Peer Theatre performance is completely free! Interested in learning more or setting up a performance?
