APPLY TO JOIN THE RBC BID TEAM TODAY!!!

What is RBC?

RBC stands for the Regional Business Conference for The Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls, otherwise known as CAACURH. CAACURH is the Regional organization that oversees the National Residence Hall Honorary and Residence Hall Advisory Councils for all of Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. At this conference, delegations from each school vote on legislation, bids, and other items that affect all of the schools within CAACURH. This conference takes place in late January or early February, over one weekend. There are typically between 150-200 people who attend this conference, and we are interested in bidding for this conference.

What is bidding?

Bidding includes putting together a bid and a presentation to be presented at the Regional Business Conference at Rowan University in February 2018. By bidding, we are intending to host the conference in late January or early February of 2019. This bid consists of a variety of aspects, including every aspect of the conference, as well as our plan if we are selected, of how we will host the conference.

Why are we bidding?

We are bidding because we believe that this is the time for The Ohio State University to have more of a regional presence. One way to do this is by hosting this conference. Also, both RHAC and NRHH believe that we have the personnel to not only win the bid to host the conference, but to put on an amazing conference that will show the entire region what Ohio State has to offer.

What we need?

We are currently looking to fill the positions of our conference team directors! These directors will be hardworking individuals who want to host an awesome conference here at Ohio State! This experience is a great leadership opportunity where you will not only learn valuable event planning skills, gain valuable experience working with various departments here at Ohio State, but you will also be able to work with amazing people and help display the University for other schools across the region. Below, you will find descriptions of Our Conference Team!
